DOG OWNERS: To add a courtesy listing for your dog, click on this form but, first please read the Important Tips below.
IMPORTANT TIPS for submitting your listing :
Please be sure to enter your contact info carefully.
Be sure to indicate your dog’s age in years, months or weeks.
Lastly, do NOT use any apostrophes (‘), quotation marks (”) or ampersands (&) in your entry—sorry, but the html coding used by our server host will not reproduce them accurately.
Please note that while it is OK for you to ask a modest rehoming fee to cover expenses you’ve incurred—such as for vaccinations, a collar, leash and toys—you may not use this service to sell a dog or puppies for financial gain.
THOSE LOOKING TO ADOPT: Courtesy listings are provided as a public service. They are basically free want-ads. SCLRR does not evaluate the dogs that appear in the courtesy listings. You should take care to meet the dog you’re interested in and conduct your own evaluation of the dog before adopting it. Also, please notify us immediately if you feel someone is using this service to sell a dog or puppies for profit.
All entries are automatically deleted after two weeks; upon request by the animal’s owner, an SCLRR volunteer can delete the listing sooner.
If you do re-home or adopt a dog privately through our Courtesy Listings, we strongly encourage you to print out and use the following generic Release of Ownership and Terms of Adoption forms to effect legal transfer of ownership.

CHOCOLATE MALE entered on 08/12/2026
CHOCOLATE MALE, 8 YEAR(s).Gundo is a very sweet, calm and gentle 90-pound chocolate Labrador born January 1, 2018. We purchased him as an eight-week-old puppy from Iowa Pointing Labs and have his registration papers and full pedigree. He was trained as a hunting dog and has hunted quail and retrieved ducks, but he is now much more of a house and family dog. He loves children, people and other animals and is happiest relaxing inside with his family or going on walks. Gundo is completely house-trained, comfortably uses a dog door and does not have any bad habits. He has never bitten, snapped or shown aggression of any kind. He is walked daily and still goes on light jogs once or twice a week. He turns 9 on Jan 1 2027. He has mild arthritis but remains active and mobile. He is otherwise healthy, takes no medication and is not neutered. We are looking for a loving home that wants a calm, affectionate indoor companion. We are located in Manhattan Beach and can provide veterinary records, registration papers and his complete pedigree

BLACK MALE entered on 08/02/2026
BLACK MALE, 4 YEAR(s).Leo is very joyful and silly. He is also energetic in short bursts, but tires out easily, like a sprinter rather than a long distance runner. He does need sufficient time outside to get some of the zoomies out. Once that happens, he can relax easier inside. Leo also loves playing fetch, tug of war, wrestling, and chase. While playful, Leo sometimes forgets how big he is, so I have had to be careful with where he plays and with whom. Finally, he does have severe separation anxiety, and would do well with someone with more at home time. He can also be reactive with some aggressive dogs, usually other males.

YELLOW FEMALE entered on 08/07/2026
YELLOW FEMALE, 2 YEAR(s).Hello my wife and I live in Palm Desert but own a home in Tijuana and recently rescued a pair of dogs that were near death. Fortunately, we were able to nurture them back to Health with trips to the local vet and daily medications. As much as we would love to continue to take care of them we already have six dogs we’ve rescued in the area and just aren’t able to take on more. We’re hoping to find these dogs, a loving home and wondering If you are able to take them on, if not, is there another shelter or group you would recommend? These dogs already have their shots and can cross into the US at any time. Thank you
