REDONDO BEACH: The 23rd annual Police K-9 Demonstration and Public Safety Fair conducted by the Los Angeles County Police Canine Association. Police dogs (including Labrador Retrievers) from many agencies in LA County, including Redondo Beach PD and Torrance PD, will be there at this annual event! SATURDAY, JULY 27th at Redondo Union High School-Sea Hawk Bowl in Redondo Beach. The stadium is located west of Prospect Avenue at 1 Sea Hawk Way in South Redondo. Pedestrian entrance on Vincent Street. Vehicles may enter the parking lot off Diamond or Vincent Street. IMPORTANT: You MAY park on Vincent and intersecting streets since residential permit parking in the neighborhood will be suspended for the day. 🙂 The Safety Fair runs from 1PM to 3PM---VISIT THE LAB RESCUE BOOTH/TABLES and say 'hi' to our volunteers. The K-9 demonstration goes from 3PM to 5PM. This is the largest Police K-9 demonstration event in Los Angeles County. LACPCA members are dedicated to serving and protecting the public and have a common goal of making our communities better, safer places to live and work. Please join us in supporting the LA County Police K-9 units---and have some FUN!!! SCLRR is proud to support the LACPCA which provides: *Support in case a police officer is injured or killed in the line of duty. *Care for retired police service dogs. *Veterinary care for retired service dogs.   *Training of Police K9 units, which may include outside experts, equipment acquisition, and/or seminars.   *Assistance to Guide Dogs of America, who train guide dogs for the blind.
