2026-06-16: Hi, my name is Sparta and I love my foster family, but if I must go let me tell you a little about myself...

I am a very sweet, 6 year old, well mannered lady. I haven't quite figured out what I like to eat yet, but as long as you cover it in warm chicken I'll eat it! I love to play with my squeaky toys, chew on a bone and play fetch. And I LOVE to chase squirrels! I guess it's not surprising because I used to be a hunting dog! My foster mom is scared I'll actually catch one someday, so she keeps a close eye on me when we are at the park.

I love the beach too! I run and run when I'm there, chasing my ball and burying it in the sand, sometimes not to find it again!

I'm not really bothered about other dogs. I might have a sniff if they're around but I wasn't really fond of how much they sniffed my bottom at the dog park! Kind of personal in my opinion!

I live with my foster cat and we get along just fine. We have even given each other a lick or two!

I love to be with people, so I'd love a home where there is someone around a lot of the time. I am completely potty trained and sleep through the night, sleeping next to my foster family on my bed.

I am just a calm, mellow ball of sweetness who just needs lots of love, walks and belly rubs. If I sound like the girl for you, please contact your family rep. I will be happy and loved while I wait for you!
