2026-06-25: Hi! My name is Coco C. (short for Chanel) and I'm an almost 5 year old chocolate female that weighs 101 pounds. My foster mom says that I'm perfect: beautiful, very sweet, mellow, and a good listener. I take treats gently, and I give sweet kisses. I love belly rubs and ear and butt scratches. I'll give you gentle taps with my paw if I would like more pets. I love being around my humans and like to lay next to them.I am potty trained. I'm not crate trained, but I don't need one. I'm completely well behaved when I'm left alone in the house. I get along great with all the dogs I've met and I used to live with cats before. I don't really bark. If someone rings the bell or makes noise outside, I might give one bark. I don't jump on people, but I do get really excited when people come over and do the cutest butt wiggles. When I came into the rescue, I was very overweight. I've lost some pounds but I'm still overweight and have about 20 pounds to lose. My foster family has been working with me to lose the weight with diet and exercise. I love going on walks and go on 2 walks a day. I walk about 3-5 miles a day. I walk great on a leash, but I do get excited when I see other dogs and might pull when I see them. Because of my size and strength, my foster mom has been using a prong collar when she walks me. I'm looking for an active forever family that will spend time with me and take me on walks and give me ear and belly rubs. I also need a family that can resist my cute face and won't give me too many treats so I can keep getting healthy and continue to lose weight. I am very happy, loving, affectionate, sweet and gentle. If you are interested in being my forever family, please contact your family rep.
