More detail:
2026-05-02: Hi!! I'm Stuart! I was found wandering in the desert scared, skinny and thirsty. A Good Samaritan coaxed me into her yard and the rest is history!! I am a happy, 11 month old neutered lab mix! I get along great with other dogs, big and small. I live with a dog-savvy kitty, so I give her plenty of space! I also live with a 3-year-old lab, plus two grouchy seniors who have made it very clear they weren't interested in my puppy antics, so I leave them alone too! But my foster brother and I have a blast playing and running around together! I would definitely benefit from a sibling to show me the ropes!

I love my people! I am very cuddly and gentle and I love to go wherever you go. But I'm also comfortable and calm while you're gone. I love sleeping on my dog bed in your room, by your feet (or couch if you let me), while you're watching TV. When you're ready to sip a coffee or wind down for the evening, I'll place my head on your leg for scratches and pets.

I am crate trained, leash trained, potty/dog door trained and respectful in the house. My foster mom says I am super smart and am learning new tricks every day! Ask me to sit pretty!

I love going on car rides. Leave the door open too long and I'll hop in invited or not!

My foster mom says I am a very good house dog. I will play in the house, but if you ask me to stop I will. I am not destructive, but I am a grand champion counter surfer!

I like to bark when I think there is neighborhood nonsense you should know about or when you have new people come over. I can get overwhelmed with lots of new people all at once and I'll stick to you for comfort and relax a little when you tell me it's ok. I'm getting more confident every day!

We went to a dog park and at first I was a little overwhelmed. But after a few minutes, I was the life of the party! My foster mom loved how I kept coming over to her and checking in. I've also been to an outdoor mall, a pet fair, and a couple stores. I want to be brave, but sometimes I get a little nervous and I will lean into you for support...your gentle reassurance helps me a lot!

My recall is about 80%, and I tend to 'puppy' sometimes, but I do want to come to you and I get super excited when you lavish me with praise! Oh! And I am very treat motivated!

I am just a really good boy who wants a loving family that will include me in their lives. I get so happy when the leash comes out!

If you think I'm the goodest boy for you, hit me up!! Love, Stuart
