I am a 1 yr old black Labrador mix...gorgeous, energetic, super fun, happy, playful boy looking for my forever family.

I am smart and I thrive on routine...I was neglected as a young pup, and then dumped in the freezing high desert with my brother Padfoot. A kind lady from SCLRR picked us up and well, it's only up from here!

I am exuberant and love to run and play, so I need a very active family and definitely another dog to play with! I get along with all dogs, big and small. I shouldn't be in a house with cats, caged birds or bunnies. I'm told I am interested in them 'too much'. Whatever that means!

I love all children, but I'm still a baby myself, and would be too much for children under 8.

I am crate trained and learning leash manners ( I'm distracted easily) and know how to use a dog door to go outside and do my business.

I love learning new things! I didn't get much guidance as a young pup, so please be patient while I figure things out.

I'm an expert when it comes to counter surfing!! But that's really my only vice. I'm not destructive inside or outside. No digging or fence jumping or chewing things up...but I am nosy and like to investigate everything!

I am all about my people and love to be around them...going for walks, gardening, playing ball, watering plants, washing your car? I'm there for it! I love to be with my people!

I would be a great running and hiking pal...and car rides are so much fun! Open the door and say let's go and I'm in!
