More detail:
2026-01-25: Journee is a happy, lovable 3 year old chunk of chocolate with the sweetest face, weighing in at a healthy 65 pounds. He came to SCLRR because his family just didn't have the time to give him the love and attention he deserves.

Journee does know some basic commands such as sit and stay, he is very gentle when taking treats, but as with all young labs he will need a family that is committed to working with him to be his best self. Journee is a diamond in the rough who is eager to learn and always ready to play! He is working with his foster mom on his leash manners, but he will need an experienced lab owner who is willing to continue his training and give him daily exercise - because as we all know, 'A tired dog is a good dog!'.

Journee spent most of his day outdoors in a very windy environment, and when he came to us he had ear infections in both ears, itchy paws and a UTI. He is feeling so much better tho after being on antibiotics after only 24 hours and not out all day in windy conditions.

Journee has a lot of energy and would do well with an active family and even another dog to play with. He is also cat friendly! He is the sweetest boy who just wants to be loved. He will be a wonderful addition to a loving family, so please contact your family rep if you are interested in meeting this handsome, purebred boy!
