2025-12-24: Hello everyone, my name is Cookie Girl and I'm a 10 week old yellow Lab mix pup rescued by SCLRR! I was one of 2 young puppies that were brought to a local shelter. Since the shelter is not equipped to care for puppies they reached out to SCLRR for help. I was named Cookie Girl because I LOVE treats! Despite being dropped off at the shelter, I'm a super happy, playful pup. My foster mom says I'm a bit more ''refined'' than my brother (giggle, giggle). I was a bit shy at first, but now I'm an absolute love bug! I'm still developing my unique personality, but my foster mom says I'm very smart & confident (and playful), and with continued love and guidance I'll become your best companion. I'm having a wonderful time at my foster mom's home, but I'm ready for my forever family to scoop me up and take me home! I'm hoping to find a dog experienced family, ideally with another dog to learn from and people that are not away from home for more than a few hours at a time. My new family will need to nurture me through my puppy phases, provide the right amount of exercise, LOTS of enrichment, socialization, training, guidance and of course LOVE! I'll need my new family to teach me good manners so I can become my best me and your most loyal companion. If you think you're up for the challenge, please contact your family rep. I'll be waiting!!!
