2025-05-14: Hi, I'm Charli - a 14-month-old, 75lb bundle of love looking for my forever home!I'm a sweet, playful girl with a big heart, full of snuggles and charm! I'm the kind of dog that's impossible to resist, and I'm looking for my forever family! I grew up in a home with a mom, dad, and kids who adored me, but sadly, they couldn't keep me. They said the best thing about me is well, everything! I like to believe that's true! I'm currently with my foster parents, who call me 'Shadow' because I love staying close. I'm a bit shy around men at first, but with patience, I'll be snuggling up and bringing you my favorite toys! I may come off a little hyper at first, but give me a couple of days and you'll see me settle in like a champ. I'm a curious explorer who loves walks, especially in the mornings! I might pull a bit at first, but a second walk helps me settle. I'm still learning leash manners, so my new family can help me improve. I'm full of fun and love to snuggle or lounge by the window once I settle. I quickly find my cozy spot, whether it's a bed, the couch, or a sunny spot to sunbathe. I get along great with my foster dog brother-we take our daily tug-of-war games very seriously-and I'm a big fan of stuffed toys, especially when I get to parade them proudly around the house. I've lived with a small dog before, so I'd likely do well with another. I haven't met cats yet, but when I saw a squirrel, I didn't bark or try to chase it-I just quietly watched! I already know commands like sit, down, and of course-my name! I'm currently working on 'place' and 'off', and while I'm eager to learn, I do best with training in a calm, low-stimulation environment. Otherwise, I'll just lay down to relax and take it all in at my own pace. My new family should keep helping me understand what's okay and what's not, so I can keep becoming the best version of myself. I have so much love to give, and I can't wait to find a family to share it with. If we sound like a good match, reach out to your family rep-or sign up to be an approved adopter. I hope to be part of your family soon!
