2025-06-12: Max Rey is an 8 years old English Lab at 100 lbs. This handsome boy had some difficult beginnings. His previous owner had to give him up along with his sister as he moved into an apartment that did not allow dogs. Max is definitely a Velcro boy, house trained, uses the doggy door, and he is not destructive when left alone. He is not a big fan of being alone so he may bark and cry. He travels well in the car, gets along well with his foster sister and the 2 cats at his temporary home. Max spent 2 weeks with a professional trainer and he learned some manners as he was a blank slate. He has better leash skills too. It would be great if his new family continues to help him with his training and exercise. He is a loving boy; he is what we call a Velcro dog. He loves to cuddle with his humans and be around them as much as possible. His ideal family would be someone who is not away from home for long periods of time and preferably without small children because of his size!
