2024-02-29: Meet Baxxter. He is about 3 years old (our vet estimate). He is still very lean at 60lbs. He wants to run and fetch at the park (or any other activity). He is very social with dogs and people, excellent in the car and uses the doggy door like a champ. He would be OK with very dog savvy cats or no cats for him. Baxxter came to us with untreated allergies in his ears and especially on his belly and he lost a lot of hair. With regular medicated baths and supplements, his hair and skin look a lot better. He was lucky to have a couple of private training classes. Baxxter is much better on the leash but will pull heavily is he sees another dog. A strong owner would work best for him. He requires a good amount of running regularly, he learned and loves to fetch. A good 35-45 min game of fetch will suffice for his energy and he loves doing it. He is a very sweet cuddler and gives good kisses. He would do best with an active family, older children and ideally with another dog.
