More detail:
2024-02-09: If you're looking for a sweet, gentle, and beautiful puppy, Coconut is your girl. She is a 1 year old Dudley Lab with soulful eyes that want to explore everything she sees. A white fluffball of boundless love and affection, Coco is a great companion, friendly and calm when she meets new people.

Weighing in at a svelte 60 pounds, she's strong, smart, and somewhat willful - you know, the usual Lab traits. This fit one-year-old is full of puppy energy, which means she's super playful and needs a fair amount of exercise. Coco will also take beauty naps in her crate or hang out there when she needs a break. She loves her dog beds, and will greet you in the morning with a wet kiss and lay down quietly to rest with you.

She loves long walks, zooming around the yard, running through the sprinklers, strolling in the rain, drinking from the hose, and exploring puddles face first. Yes, she loves the water. She hasn't jumped in the pool yet, probably because it's been too cold, but it's a good guess she'll be joining you for a dip.

Get ready to hide your slippers, because sometimes she can't resist something fluffy. Just remind her to 'drop it,' and she does. Coco is a quick learner who's eager to please. She's completely housebroken and will let you know if she needs to go (we don't use our dog door because of coyotes in the area). She also keeps watch in the front window and will approach the front door when she hears someone come up the steps, but rarely barks.

Coco currently lives with three dog-savvy cats. She has never been aggressive toward them, but she will give chase and wants to play - and her enthusiasm can become A LOT! So probably no cats for this girl. And she is always cautious but friendly with dogs when she's on a walk.

When you first meet Coco, she may be timid at first, but warms up quickly and will learn to trust you in no time. While she is gentle with small children, her bouncy body is probably too much for a family with toddlers or babies. Remember, Coco is a young pup, so a family with an active lifestyle who has plenty of time to devote to her would be a wonderful match. She can be an only dog in the household, but could also do well with a puppy playmate of her own; so a family with an older (but not too senior) dog to show her the ropes would be great.

With lots of love, guidance and exercise, Coco has endless potential to be the best girl in the world. She's ready to live a long, healthy life with her forever family, someone who's experienced with the personality traits that make Labs so absolutely wonderful.
