More detail:
2024-02-15: Hi, my name is Chuck B aka Tobey and I cannot wait to meet my new family! I'm tall and lean and weigh about 55 lbs. I am a 3-year-old Lab mix and I would do great in a house with children over 12, my foster mom says I am gentle and have come a long way working on my jumping but occasionally I still pop up like a gazelle.

I am a very good boy and listen very well, I come back when called and when someone says no, I know that means I have to leave it alone. I have been doing some training and I know how to sit, lay down and walk on a leash. My foster mom has been teaching me not to jump and not to steal food, however sometimes I sniff around the trash can and the counters. It is the Lab in me that has to inspect things... I haven't dug in the trash or jumped on the counter in a long time but still probably better to keep an eye on me, I am still a young boy after all.

I LOVE to go on walks, and I love to have my zoomies in the yard in the morning so some outdoor time is a must! I am very smart and would be a good companion for running or hiking too! I love other dogs so much but I am also really happy just being around humans; I love them so much too!

When I am around hyper dogs I forget my manners, jump and play all day! When I am around dogs with average energy I play when they play and rest when they rest. When I am around only humans, I like to lay down right next to them very calm and gentle. I am pretty quiet most of the time. I don't bark or whine in my kennel, but if you start to howl I will too!

I love tug-o-war, fetch and especially my chew bones! I am very friendly around food and toys. My foster mommy says I'm a kind soul and hopes I find a home that loves me very much.

My ideal home would have a big yard so I can run and play. If you think you are the family for me, please contact your Family Rep.
