2023-01-26: Will you be my Valentine?

Pippen is a beautiful young lab with soulful eyes. She is a little over a year old and is full of youthful exuberance and excitement. Weighing in at about 65 lbs, she is full of determination and unbridled joy! She is ready to fall in love with the right family!

Pippen currently resides with a foster family with 2 cats, which she would love to play with, but they are not smitten with her, so she leaves them alone. She also lives with 3 other dogs. One about her size and 2 smaller dogs. Pippen really wants to play with everyone-ALL the time-and it is a bit too much for the older dogs. Pippen will do best with a family with larger dogs or on her own.

Pippen is currently in a training program to help her learn some manners so she can live her best life. Additional training sessions will be provided for the adoptive family, so they can help her transition into a successful adoption.

Pippen is house trained and happily sleeps overnight in the crate. She is not a digger; however she will destroy any toy she is given in a short time! She exhibits typical lab behavior and is pretty nosey in the kitchen, but we are working on those habits. Pippen loves to play ball! It is her favorite thing and she will bring it back to you over and over for more!

Pippen will do well with a family who likes to walk or run. She currently gets in 3-5 miles a day and her leash manners are improving daily. She is friendly and curious with other people and pups and hasn't really shown much interest in birds or squirrels. She has jumped in the pool a couple of times and would probably love a pool, if it wasn't so cold right now!

This sweet girl needs a furever home that will continue to help her learn and grow. One without small children as she is strong and when she forgets her manners could knock someone down with her exuberance. An experienced owner might be best as she will need patience and leadership. Small dogs are most likely not for her as she can be a bossy girl.

Are you ready to commit and give this precious girl a loving home? If so, you will receive a lifetime of cuddles, kisses and a loyal companion. What more can you ask of your Valentine?
