Shelter listings are provided as a public service. They are basically free want-ads. SCLRR does not evaluate the dogs that appear in the shelter listings. You should take care to meet the dog you’re interested in and conduct your own evaluation of the dog before adopting it. While we make every effort to ensure these listings are accurate, we cannot guarantee there are no mistakes below. Please always call the shelter before coming to see a particular dog. Also remember that in most cases time is very short for these dogs. If you want to know whether the dog is still there, call the shelter directly!

Comments: Labrador Retriever Mix 2 Years Male A524085 Two-year-old Polar Bear just might be the cutest pup around. This two-year-old Labrador Retriever mix loves butt scritches, belly rubs, and having his silly ears scratched. He is a HUGE fan of cheese and will solve any food puzzle to get to it! Polar Bear is an active and energetic dog, so it's important that his future adopter continue to work with him on his leash manners and training cues. He's a super smart guy (and highly motivated by cheese), so positive-reinforcement training is really fun for him! Polar Bear would be a great companion for outdoor adventures, but he also really benefits from calm enrichment activities such as food puzzles and snuffle mats. He's a multifaceted guy! I'm available for a 10 day adoption trial!
