More detail:
2015-07-23: Hi, my name is Koco but I prefer Coco (like in Chanel) and I am an 8 year old, mellow (not yellow) chocolate Lab. I am tall and a trim 80 pounds. We girls have to watch or weight!! I was rescued from a shelter by SCLRR and am so very grateful. I arrived at my foster home with an ear infection, an eye infection and some skin issues. We went to the veterinarian the very next day and the medicines prescribed have helped me back to health.

My foster mom says that I am the best behaved girl. I am very trustworthy in the house and I get to housesit for an hour or two when the family goes out and they can't take me with them. I adapted very well to my new foster home and fit right in the very first day! I love the big back yard and the pool is so much fun. It is a blast jumping in and swimming to get that tennis ball. And I get it every time! Yes, every time!

Chasing and getting the ball in the yard is also a favorite pastime and then I find a shady spot under a tree for some R&R. My foster mom also is impressed that I do not bark. I have been here almost a week and no one has heard me bark! I am very well behaved on the leash and in greeting other dogs. Going for walks in the 'hood' is another favorite activity and we do this every morning and evening.

At night, I go to sleep in my doggy bed next to my foster mom's son's bed and I do not make a peep until morning when she comes to wake me around 8. Did I mention I am well behaved and very smart? Not many dogs can tell time and know when it's rise and shine time!

My biggest wish is to have a forever home and to be with a family or someone to love me and let me love them. I am loyal, kind, sweet and will be a faithful loving companion. If you would like to meet me, please contact your family rep.
