More detail:
Hello! My name is Maggie Mae and I am a gorgeous, 8 year old, yellow lab. I weigh about 70 pounds and I keep myself slim and trim by taking my foster mom on walks and playing fetch with her. I came to my foster family because one of my parents is not feeling well and they needed some help taking care of me. I am behaving myself at my foster home.

My foster mom is constantly telling me that I am such a good, smart, patient girl. But, I already knew that. I know all of my commands, I always ask permission to go outside to do my duty, and I am very patient when strangers on the street stop and ask to pet me. These people have been doing this all my life. I guess that is what happens to us beautiful dogs.

Some more of my good qualities are: I get along with other dogs at the park and on the street, I am patient with cats, I am respectful of the items in the house (my mom even leaves me in the house alone and everything is fine), and I sleep all night long on my bed right next to my foster dad.

If I had to describe a weakness of mine, I would say that I really don't like strange dogs coming into my house. I just don't want to share with strangers. But, if it is a dog I already know, everything's fine! Because of that I should be the only dog in the house.

So, now that you know all about me, how about letting me get to know you? I really am ready for a new forever home and I promise I will do my best to make you happy!
