07/22/2017 South LA LA COUNTY Police K-9 Demonstration

SANTA MONICA: 18th Annual Police K-9 Demonstration and Safety Fair conducted by the Los Angeles County Police Canine Association. Police dogs from many agencies in LA County will be there! SATURDAY, JULY 22nd at Santa Monica College-Stadium. The stadium is located south of Pico Blvd. between 16th & 17th Streets; you will be directed to parking. Enter parking structure 3 or 4 (off Pico & 17th).
The Safety Fair starts at 1:00PM—VISIT THE LAB RESCUE BOOTH/TABLES and say Hi to our volunteers.

The K-9 demonstration starts at 3:00PM. This is the largest Police K-9 demonstration event in Los Angeles County. LACPCA members are dedicated to serving and protecting the public and have a common goal of making our communities better, safer places to live and work. SCLRR will have a booth at the Safety Fair, just as we’ve had in past years. Please join us in supporting the LA County Police K-9 units—and have some FUN!!! SCLRR is proud to support the LACPCA which provides: – Support in case a police officer is injured or killed in the line of duty.   – Care for retired police service dogs. -Veterinary care for retired service dogs.   – Training of Police K9 units, which may include outside experts, equipment acquisition, and/or seminars.   – Assistance to Guide Dogs of America, who train guide dogs for the blind.
