Hi, I'm Dante! No one really knows much about my life prior to a few weeks ago- but my foster mom rescued me from a homeless camp where I was tied up in the sun and really hot! And I really needed water and to go potty! She took me home with her and I finally know what it's like to be loved and sleep in a bed.

While I am only 6-8 months old- says the vet- I am already 55 lbs and going to be a big boy! I am growing quickly and have these neat double dewclaws- so there are whispers that one of my parents could be part Great Pyrenees!! I am all healthy and feeling wonderful! Despite my time on the streets, I am a happy go lucky guy and my foster mom calls me an old soul!

My favorite things to do are to splash in the pool, carry around my favorite toys, and go back to my home base- my foster mom's bed! It's where I feel the most at home. I love to play with all dogs that I see, I love kids, and I love everyone in general!

I am used to being around people, and now that I have my foster mom and I know I am safe with her, I don't like when she leaves me alone. I don't know if she's coming back and the crate is scary! I just want to know that I'm safe and won't be abandoned, and then I will relax and feel great when home alone. I just need a little bit of time to feel secure. Will you take that time with me?
