More detail:
2020-02-25: Rocco Roy aka Murphy is a 4 yrs old lab at 84 lbs. He is a sweet lovable guy who thinks he's a lap dog, loves belly rubs and loves to go on walks. He is pretty decent on a leash, but also strong so ideally he would be walked with a pinch collar. He likes to stop a lot and sniff things out on the walks.

He is very affectionate and love to lay down by his humans. He is low energy, with 1-2 walks a day he would do well. He can go for more if needed. He is trustworthy being left alone at home, not destructive other than chewing on his toys. He is housetrained.

He gets along fine with other dogs but can be a little possessive with his toys - no incidents at all, just prefers not to share. He has been at the dog park and no issues there with other dogs but also not interested to play with them. We think he would prefer to be the only dog in the house as he is craving for his humans attention.

He is very curious of the cat, barks at him and if given the chance chases him, so a home without cats would be best.

He is a bolter so ideally he will go to a home where front door is not used a lot or the family will know to hold his collar when opening the door. Therefore a family without children that create a lot of traffic on the door would be more suitable for him. He would do fine with a young family or retired.

He just wants to be loved and give love back! If you are interested in making Rocco Roy part of your family, please contact your family rep.
