Lab In Need

Ube

2022-01-12: Meet Ube, a sweet 2-year-old girl that has spent most of her life outside and sadly it shows. Missing portions of her fur from allergies and her ears are almost raw red from chronic ear infections. Then several months ago she injured one of her legs and torn her ligaments. We knew she needed our help.

We’ve taken her to a terrific vet and started her care. She was diagnosed with yeast, severe ear infection and skin infection – she will need a lot of TLC to become the beauty she should be.

For her leg we took her over to be seen by Dr. Eich at Blue Pearl. He is their orthopedic specialist that we have used in the past with great success. She has been living with torn ligaments for a while now, most probably in pain. She will need TPLO surgery. The cost for this surgery is estimated at $7,000 – $8000+ (they give us a 20% rescue discount to this). This is a lot of money but we want her to live a happy life. She is so young and has a long life ahead.

We cannot turn our backs on Ube, and we hope you can’t either. She deserves a healthy and pain-free life. Partner with us, and together we can give her a happy fur-ever after.

Please consider making a 100% Tax Deductible donation towards her care!
