More detail:
2017-06-23: Dolce is an extremely sweet yellow lab mix. She is a petite girl at 45 lbs. The vet believes she is around 3 years old but she acts a little more mature, meaning she is very friendly and acts mellower than a 3-year-old lab would act. She is a little shy on first meeting but is quick to warm up and is very loving and affectionate. She is starting to come out of her shell and is playful with her other 4-legged friends, with tug-of-war being her favorite game of choice.

She came to us from a local shelter where she was turned in by a woman's nephew who claimed she was not being taken care of by his aunt who was a hoarder. She was in good health but was just a little dirty. Dolce knows a few basic commands, runs right in her crate when told, and walks well on a leash.

Dolce is very sweet and loves attention but also does fine when left alone. She is the happiest sitting at your side being rubbed or laying at your feet watching everything going on around her. She is great with other dogs, does not seem to even notice the cats around, and is sweet with the little kids she has been living with. Her one flaw, if she even has one, is that she gets so excited to see you that she sometimes jumps up on you, looking for a quick head rub.

She is very well mannered in the house and has not chewed anything, does not jump up on the counters or has not had any accidents. She just wants to be where her people are and lay next to them. Dolce is a very sweet girl and would be a great addition to any type of family. She just wants a forever family that is willing to give her the attention she deserves.
