2017-02-22: Hello Families, My name is Pocket.

I am about 1 year old and I was born in South Korea! SCLRR worked with a rescue in Korea and I arrived in the USA early February. I weigh less than 50 pounds so I'm a little on the small side for a lab, I am probably mixed with some Japanese Jindo. I am very loving and affectionate, but, I must warn you, I am a Velcro dog. In fact I'm 'industrial strength Velcro'. I will follow you everywhere. But I can also lie at your feet and be very still, that is until you move. Then I'm right there with you. I will bark at the door bell or if I hear noise outside, but I am not aggressive unless you count kisses and licks.

Because I'm still young I have not had a lot of training. I know sit, down, out (as in 'out of the kitchen') and bed. I'm very well behaved at the Dog Park, playing and socializing with those that have either four legs or two. I have yet to meet a cat, so don't know how I would react, probably wouldn't even know what one was.

I'm housebroken and know how to use a doggie door. But I need leash training, as I currently do not walk well on a leash. My foster dad is teaching me to play fetch - what a great game, cause I really love to run.

I think I would do best with a big yard, somewhere I can run. Preferably a home where someone is home most of the time and or another doggie brother or sister to keep me company! I'm very good in the house as long as someone is home. But when I'm left alone I have been known to pull things down off of counters and tabletops. I also like to steal stuffed animals, small pillows and yarn. Boy, do I love to steal yarn and unravel it, could I be part cat? BUT I'm very gentle with them, I don't chew them up, I look at it more as helping you to redecorate. But I am still very young, so I know I will outgrow my mischievousness with the right training in a loving forever home.

If you think I may be the dog for you please let your Family Rep know so we can possibly meet!
