2016-11-09: Hi everyone‼ My name is Zoey and I am very ready to find my furever home. Someone found me wandering around in the street and decided that it was not safe for me to be out there on my own so he took me to the shelter. At the shelter there were all kinds of dogs and noises and people. I must say that I didn't care for it too much so when this nice lady from SCLRR came to get boy was I so very happy to go with her. I'm now in a foster home with 2 doggy brothers, a cat and I sleep in my very own doggy bed! I'm 8 years young and I weigh 103lbs. Now don't let my weight fool you, I am an active dog and my most favorite thing to do is to take walks with my foster mom. We walk for almost two miles and my mom says that I am very good on the leash. I don't pull and I don't bark at the other dogs that I meet. I simply say "hello" and keep on walking. My mom says that my new family needs to keep up my exercise so that I can get my girlish figure back. She also puts in fresh green beans or other fresh veggies in my food to help me fill up. I love them! So as I mentioned before I have two doggy brothers and we get along great! My foster mom has a cat and well when I first saw him I ran over to him ( I only wanted to say hi ) but my mom said "'no Zoey! Leave the cat alone!'" so I have left him alone ever since. I don't have any accidents in the house. My mom says that I'm very smart and could probably learn to use a doggy door very quickly. At home I like to hang out in whatever room my foster mom is in. She also has a son who plays with me. At night I sleep in her room. I would love to have a family that will continue to take me on walks and on outings. I ride great in the car and have wonderful manners when I meet new people. A doggy sibling would be great but I could also be an only dog. More attention and kisses for me! If you think that I would fit perfect in your family then please contact your family rep. I have a lot of love and kisses to give!
