Hi! I''m Hope, a three-year-old female. I weigh about 60 lbs. and have my AKC papers. Everyone tells me what a sweetheart I am and that I have the softest fur and am quite the looker. People are constantly stopping to admire me - it can get a little embarrassing!! I''m not just arm candy though, I''m smart and sensitive too. In fact I''m so sensitive that I get very depressed when I don''t have doggie company, so I''ll need a super-playful doggie brother or sister to keep me happy in my new home. That''s a non-negotiable! I''ve also been told I''m slow to warm up to people, and I guess I am. I''m shy and it can take a few weeks of love and patience for me to trust someone new. Likewise, unfamiliar situations and surroundings really scare me, so it will probably take a couple of weeks for me to get comfortable in my new home. But hey, a girl can''t be too careful these days! I''m a big fan of kids, especially girls, because their gentle nature draws me out of my shell. I like to be wooed, and that requires time and patience. Sometimes little boys just don't get it! My foster mommy says that I''m at my best when I''m engaged and playing with doggie friends, or being loved and fawned over by my humans. I would'n't argue with that, attention definitely agrees with me. At the very least I want to be next to you as often as possible, preferably with plenty of fur-on-skin contact. I also love dog parks and neighborhood walks. Being out and about in the world is good for me. The more I''m exposed to, the more relaxed I''ll get. And if you''ll help me work on my confidence and shower me with affection, I''ll become the incredible dog you''re looking for. I''m already well on my way! photo Hope52_zpsty3kaydn.jpg
