More detail:
2015-06-26: Dear Families, My registered AKC name is Santiagos Grace. You can call me GRACIE! I am 3 years old and weigh approximately 80 lbs. I just had a birthday on April 1, 2015. Nope that is not an April Fools joke! I really did! It's also not a joke that I ended up in rescue. My family that raised me had to move out of state. They could not take me so they contacted SCLRR and did the right thing. My story is simply that I was kept as an outside only dog. Since coming into SCLRR, I have proven that I can be an indoor dog with no problem. I am completely housebroken, very trustworthy in the home, with not a mischief bone in my body. I love being in the house with my people. If left outside, I will vocalize in protest. Once I bond, I am very tough to send away even for a moment. I will be at your side every minute of every day. It is a must I have a confident, dog friend in the home. You'll see from my pictures that I'm often found cuddling with one of my foster mates. Do you have a cuddle buddy in your home that I can meet? I am wonderful and completely safe with children of all ages. Because of my size I am a bit of a locomotive so toddlers beware! Foster mom also believes I can reside safely with cats. Oh, I should also tell you that I ride well in a car and love going places. However...by far my most favorite thing to do is take walks. I do super fast twirls when the leash comes out. I'm told it's adorable but watch out I don't trip you by mistake! Last but not least, I'm a Lab. Give me a kiddie pool of water and I'm all good to go. If what I described makes you think we should meet, please do not hold back - reach out to your family rep and express your interest! I am ready to move into my forever home if you are!
