More detail:
2015-06-22: My name is Yancy and I am a 13 years young male. I weigh about 60lbs. I don't even know where to begin... I was originally rescued by SCLRR as a puppy. They took care of me and found me a loving home. I was obviously loved and cared for - so what happened?

So fast forward to this year, where I ended up at a scary shelter. Thankfully I was microchipped and they contacted SCLRR who came to my rescue AGAIN! I am currently being fostered by a great family - I live with another yellow lab and a small Chihuahua. We get along famously! I really wasn't responding to my old name Yancy - so my foster Mom started calling me Buddy - I really like that name!

Even my vet says I'm in VERY good health for my age. I take fish oil, glucosamine and gabapentin once a day. The cost of these pills is minimal about $25.00/month. Due to my age, my left back foot drags - so I wear a cute shoe on my short walks so I don't stub my toes! I only need it if I go for a walk - I don't need it around the house or if we walk at the park. I am always a happy, friendly dog! I am extremely low maintenance - enjoying the simple things in life, a good meal, short walks and a comfy bed! Ideally I would be best suited with a family that is home most of the time or retired - I just love being with my humans! My gentle, kind spirit will melt your heart!

I am a special dog looking for a special family to love me through the last chapter of my life. I will make a wonderful addition to a family who will spoil and love me. I'm hoping third time is a charm - to have a forever family again with the help of SCLRR.

Love and hugs, Buddy.
