More detail:
2014-07-25: Hi, I am Sir Chase I am 13 years old, and not to sound conceited, but I am a purebred black lab with papers. I am a little hard of hearing, but if you talk loudly I can hear. My parents separated and I was turned in to SCLRR.

I have been with my foster parent for a couple of months. When I first got there my arthritis was really bad and I was over weight. I was started on arthritis medicine and supplements and started going on walks, which have helped greatly. I can walk a mile!!, and I like going for walks. Sometimes I'm a little unsteady especially if I have to walk up or down to many stairs. I have lost a few pounds and probably could lose a couple more. Over all I feel so much better and will occasionally do a little hop and romp around with happiness.

I have a couple of calluses on my elbows, one recently had a sore, but is nearly healed, so I should avoid laying on rough surfaces.

I like to be near my foster parent and follow him around the yard and house, but am fine when he leaves and excited when he comes home. I am very well behaved and only rarely bark. I have been free to roam the foster home all day and never have had a problem. My foster parent calls me little bear, because I look like a big black teddy bear. When I want attention I walk up to my foster parent and nudge him with my head, it usually works. I love to lay next to my foster parent at night while watching a movie.

I have been around little kids and have been very gentle.

Not to sound conceited again, but I'm a lovable and loving living teddy bear.

Sincerely, Sir Chase
