Hi! I am Miss Penelope, affectionally known as Lottie Dottie! A very sweet 8 year old girl who weighs in at 75 pounds (that is post my string bean and kibble diet). I'm proud to report that I have lost a much needed ten pounds, and I now have the sass and energy of a younger lady. My black fur is beautiful and I wouldn't be surprised if I get a call from either weight watchers or vidal sasson to be a spokes doggie.

On another note, life wasn't so jolly a month ago! Rumor has it I was rescued just in the nick of time from the Lancaster shelter had the folks at SCLRR not seen the light in my eyes. With luck on my side, I have gotten back into shape and I now wag my tail non-stop. I play with my foster's other two dogs and I love children of all ages. I am potty trained and I don't bark. As in never!

I love belly rubs and you can sometimes find me playing on my back squiggling upside down with a smile on my face. I'm very affectionate and I love to curl up next to you or on my puffy dog bed which is a favorite of mine. I am comfortable whether there is lots of action around me, or I am chilling outside in the yard or even in the house during the day or at night. I'm true to my lab heritage, as in I love to play fetch, car rides excite me and I'm an excellent passenger, I walk well on a leash, I like to please and I'm always happy and ready to be by your side.

Let me tell you, this loyal and happy girl is ready to find her new home - a place I can spice up with my girlish attitude and sweet nature! If you are ready to share raw carrot snacks with me and are in search of something that makes you smile - contact your family rep so you can see my tail wag in person!

Love, Lottie
