2010-02-04: AVAILABLE NOW Shelby is an 11 year old chocolate lab with a beautiful soft furry coat that you will just sink your hands into. She lived with her first family her whole life, but unfortunately due to divorce and their medical problems, they placed her with SCLRR. Shelby is 61 pounds, a good weight for her. She likes her walks - a 20 minute walk once or twice a day is perfect for her. She is housetrained and completely trustworthy in the house. She is fine left alone as long as she has access to inside. Shelby is a talker, making all sorts of happy growly sounds when she is being loved. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all her shots and even just had her teeth cleaned. She lived with cats and other dogs in her first home. She is fine with children - our grandchildren get lots of kisses - but young children in the home might not be the best - Shelby does like to take lots of naps!!
