Purebred Labrador Retriever: A dog for whom we have AKC papers or
copies
thereof.
Labrador Retriever: A dog having the appearance of a purebred,
but we
lack papers for it.
Labrador Retriever Mix: A dog bearing enough similarity in
appearance
and temperament to a Lab to make it reasonable to assume that it has
purebred lines somewhere in its ancestry.

Due to the shortage of volunteers, we no
longer evaluate every owner listed dog for temperament, health, etc. Information on this website regarding listed (as opposed to fostered) dogs is generally provided by the dog's owner and may not have been verified by SCLRR. An adoption of a
listed dog is a private arrangement between the adopter and the owner. SCLRR accepts
no liability for this service.
Complete contact information
for these dogs is only available to those who have filled out our
Adoption Application form and who
have been approved through interviews with our volunteers.

Dogs available
through other rescue groups or private parties. Direct contact
information provided, these agencies will do their own screening.
